So me and my brother had a discussion about the new teams in dc/baltimore area. Like Baltimore shouldnt of got a football team, let alone call them the Ravens and there uniforms be purple and white. That is so fucking stupid. I mean there colors should of been yellow, black and red. They can't beat the Redskins, even though they suck shit. But atleast they dont have a murderer and a drug dealer on there team, like the ravens. So the Washington wins there

But then there is the Orioles and the Nationals. I mean come on dc has had 2 baseball teams already and lost them both, dont give them a third team. The first from 1901 to 1960, from 1901 to 1956 they were the Nationals, then some dumbass decided to change the name to the Senators. Bad idea, because after 4 years as the Senators, they moved. Turned into the Minnesota Twins in 1961, the team i like. Also in 1961 Washington got an expansion team by the name of the Senators, some people just think it was just the same team, but it wasnt. That only lasted for 10 years 1961-1971, then they moved and turned into the Texas Rangers. So now they have gotten there third team and my guess is they will last for like 10 to 15 years then move. But move where? beats me. Now i do know washington also had other baseball teams in the 1800's. First was the Washington Nationals, then the Senators, and then the Washington Statesmen (good name i think). i am not sure of the years they played.

Now to the Orioles, many may not know, but Baltimore also had a team in the 1800's. they were just called the Orioles and i am not sure of when they played. But the team now, they were orginally the Milwaukee Brewers from 1894 to 1901 and they were a minor league team. But in 1902 they moved to St Louis and were called the St Louis Browns, that actually lasted a little while, well until 1953. Then they moved to Baltimore and became the Orioles and has been here since.

so i got off subject of what i was writing about, i like baseball. but now baseball has really gone down hill real bad, Most of the players are way overpaid, they are on steroids and lets not forget the strike of 94-95. I dont watch it much anymore, i mean the two teams with the the highest salaries the Yankees and the Red Sox, well they arent very good teams, they may have good players, but as a team they are average. I mean both winning percentage is in the .500s and that is not that good, barely a winning record. Look at the Yankees team salaries, its $208,306,817 and as of today there record is 52W 45L, comeon they could do better then that. The Red Sox team salary is $123,505,125 and record is 54W 44L, but hey atleast there in first by 1 1/2 games, you think they would also be better. Now compared to the Minnasota Twins (the team i like) salary which is $56,186,000 and record is 53W 45L. See you would think the Yankees and Red Sox would have a better record. Considering the Yankees Team Salary is almost 3 times as much and the Red Sox is twice as much as the Twins. I mean i bet some people didnt know where David Ortiz came from, he came from the Twins, he was good for them too. So i dont have a point really, but fuck the Yankees - Red Sox rivalry. Alot of the poeple that like the yankees just like them because they have been somewhat good for the past few years, they probably didnt like em when they sucked shit in the 80s. Unless you liked them from when you were little, then thats cool. The same goes for the Red Sox.

I liked the Twins ever since i was a little kid. Like When they had Kirby Puckett, Kent Herbeck, Manager Tom Kelly, Shane Mack, Chuck Knoblauch, Scott Erickson, and Rick Aguilera. I liked em when they sucked and when they were good.

well thats all
